Sonographer (ultrasound technician)
Duties and Responsibilities:
An ultrasound technician operates special equipment with sound waves to help diagnose people's ailments.  They work directly with patients and physicians. Ultrasound technicians may specialize in obstetric and gynecologic sonography, abdominal sonography, neurosonography, breast sonography, vascular sonography or cardiac sonography.
Salary: $23,000 annually
Education: There are associate degree programs that take two years and bachelor degree programs that take about four years. People already in the medical field can enroll in a one year certificate program. This is a currently a licensed occupation.

I think I would enjoy working in this field because later in the future I want to be an obstetrician and these two fields are very similar.
