In my opinion i completely agree with this quote because if you are striving toward reaching a goal individually it will take more time and double the effort than if you were to work in a team in order to reach that goal. If you really want to reach that goal then you need to do something about it instead of waiting for someone else to. You need to start putting effort and soon everyone else will to. Don't wait for others to do something about it when you can do it at the moment. If you work in a team then you will reach your goal faster because you are helping one another. You will have also achieved it with less effort because others are there to help you. Working as a team will make you get the job done faster. If you start working hard then so will everyone else but the first move is up to you.

Home Health Aide

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Enables patients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording patient condition; providing support and personal services; teaching families. They perform home management tasks including housekeeping, laundry, shopping and errands. Prepares and serves simple modified diets according to instructions.

Average Salary: $8,000-$18,000

Educational Requirements:

Home Health Aides must be a high school graduate or have a GED certificate.

If you work in a team you will help each other out causing you to achieve your goal. Working in a team will make reaching your goal easier. Health Care Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities:

Healthcare administrators direct and manage hospitals and other healthcare facilities.  They are responsible for long-range planning, financial administration, personnel administration, materials management, purchasing, public affairs and patient administration.

Small hospitals may have only one administrator, while larger hospitals may have many.  Some administrators specialize in specific fields like patient administration or purchasing. Health care administrators also work in HMOs, health agencies, clinics, or for private practices.

Average Salary:   $35,000 - $100,000

Educational Requirements:

Students should take challenging high school courses in business, science, math, and English. Most healthcare administrators hold master's degrees in healthcare administration or in business administration.

This statement is trying to tell us that in order to achieve your goal you have to work as a team. You must put effort to get to that specific goal you want to get to. In order for you to become something you have to do so many to try to get to it, the more you try as a team together you will eventually get to it. As a team you don’t just have yourself, you have others that can give you a hand to help you out. Your team will help you in achieving your goal and will make you achieve it faster. Working as a team can help you achieve a goal that might seem impossible, because it will be harder if you try to achieve it yourself. 

 The importance of Good Sportsmanship

   

Playing sports and being in a team not only means that you have to try hard in your games and practice, it also means that you need to be a good sportsmanship. Being a good sportsmanship is really important. You can be the best player in your team but it won’t matter because if you aren’t a good sportsmanship and nobody is going to like you. Being a good sportsmanship means that you are respectful towards other players in the opposing team. It also means that you shouldn’t get mad or jealous when your team loses because that isn’t an example of a good sportsmanship. Instead of getting mad because you lost you can practice more and try improving the chances of winning next time. Being a good sportsman is very important because nobody would want to play with you if you are a bad team member because you will only bring your teammates down and make them fail.

This statement is telling us that we will become what our goal is to become. This statement is saying that we need to be determined and persistent in order reach our main goal. It is saying that if we set our mind to reach a goal that we have we will reach it with hard work and dedication. If we aspire to be a great person then we will become a great person. You will achieve your main goal and become a great person if you set your mind to it.

Health Science Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities:

Health Sciences Librarians and Library Technicians collect and organize medical information and help practitioners find the information they need for patient care, education, research, and administration.

 Librarians select and acquire books, journals, files and other library material.  They also establish electronic and digital database information systems.  They organize this information into collections and develop catalogs for access and provide reference assistance to patrons.  They coordinate and control budgets and supervise other library technicians.

Average Salary: $20,000-$55,000

Educational Requirements:

 Students should take challenging high school courses in information management, science, math, and English. Health Science Librarians should earn an undergraduate degree in one of the life sciences and must earn a master's degree in library science from a program that is accredited by the American Library Association.  Some library science graduate programs offer specialized courses in health science librarianship.

In my opinion I wouldn't like to be a Health Science librarian because I wouldn't like to work filing information and organizing data, instead I would rather work with patients not the patient’s records.

This statement is telling us that if we have a goal that is worth all the hard work you are going to put in it then you have to follow that goal and do whatever it takes to reach it. But in order to reach that goal you will have to have a positive attitude and be willing to do whatever comes across the road from reaching it. If you have a great goal and a positive mind then you will most likely reach that goal with hard work and dedication and the end all that hard work will have paid off. In order to reach that goal you have to have  positive view of things and you need to choose the right and try the best you can in reaching that goal.

Duties and Responsibilities: Health Information Specialists obtain, post, and analyze medical, workload, finance, and insurance data.  They ensure that this information is properly recorded into medical records so practitioners can plan and evaluate health care provided to patients.

Average Salary:

·         $20,000 - $25,000 (Coding Specialists) 

·         $23,000 - $30,000 (Record Technicians) 

·         $30,000 - $40,000 (Record Administrators)

Educational Requirements: Students should take high school courses in business, information management, science, math, and English.

Coding specialists must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.  Training is usually conducted on the job, but classes are offered at technical schools and community colleges.  To become certified, specialists must pass an examination.

Accredited record technicians must earn an associate's degree from an accredited college program or from the American Health Information Management Association Independent Study Program.  Additionally, they must pass a credentialing examination.

Record administrators must complete a bachelor's degree program in the field and pass a certification examination.

I think that I wouldn't like to be a Health Information Specialist because they work with data and organizing it, I think I wouldn't like to work gathering data so I wouldn’t like to have this career.             I would rather be an obstetrician, and work with patients instead of analyzing data.

In my opinion this is a very good statement. It is trying to tell us that we can become whatever our mind sets to becoming. We can achieve any dream that we think about, we just have to try our best and choose the right. It may be hard to reach what our mind is set for, but with hard work we can achieve whatever we want. If we set our mind on something we will become that person. If we set our mind to negative things then we will become a negative person, but if we try to see good in everything and think positive then we will become a positive person. Our mind can achieve anything that it is set to with hard work and dedication.
