Attention that will lead others to follow the path of courageousness and what is great.

Cowardice asks the question ‘Is it safe?’ Expediency asks the question ‘Is it politic?’ Vanity asks the question ‘Is it popular?’
But, conscience, asks the question ‘Is it right?’ And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but one must take it because one’s conscience tells on that it is right.”

-Martin Luther King Jr.

We are focusing on things that we shouldn’t be focusing on. We pay attention to “popular things” just to fit in with others. We rather look “cool” and do something bad than to do the right things and have others look at us as “lame people”. Being different is a risk one should be willing to take.  We must fight against society that makes us teenagers seem like bad kids. We only live once so we have to make sure to do the right things in order to experience life in a good way. We need to choose the right whether its popular, safe, politic, or not.

“Let us have faith that makes right, and in that faith let us to the end dare to do our duty as we understand it.”

Abraham Lincoln

We need to believe that choosing the right will lead to more righteousness in the world. If we keep up the idea that what we’re doing is a difference, discouragement will not be able to touch us. If we believe then we feel that push to keep on going. Deep inside the beauty of morality has been instilled in all of us. If it hasn't we need to dig up the willpower to seek it.  We need to try our best to do what we think we were brought here to do. We are here to change the world. At least that’s why I’m here and I believe together we can make it better.

“Right is right only when entire”
Victor Hugo

I think that this quote means that you have to be fully committed to doing the right thing. Going halfway is a waste of time when you can hustle through and do what you’re supposed to. Accomplishing this goal will give you a good feeling inside. Let’s say I make a big old lie but I tell part of the truth. Should I be forgiven? No. I have chosen the wrong for not telling the complete truth.

"That which we persist in doing becomes easier to do, not that the nature of the thing has changed but that our power to do has increased."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
If you continue to try on what you want to achieve you will get better and better at it and it will become easy to do because you will get used to it, If I look back on all the things I have improved on because I tried it makes me feel prud. If I don’t understand something now all I have to do is try and I’ll get it. I know I will. Persevering will help you achieve your goals. If I don't understand a math problem I will do it over and over again until I succeed, even if it means staying in for lunch or staying after school, that way  i will get better at it and it will be easier to do.

When you tell one lie
When you tell one lie
When you tell one lie, it leads to another
So you tell two lies to cover each other
They you tell three lies and, oh brother
You’re in trouble up to your ears!
So you tell four lies to try to protect you
Then you tell five lies so folks won’t suspect you
Then you tell six lies and you’ll collect
A life filled with worries and fears
‘Cause you can’t remember how many lies you’ve told
And half the things you say aren’t true
And sometimes you’ll slip up, you’ll trip up and then
Whatever will become of you?
So you lie and lie without even trying
And each lie you tell will keep multiplying
Till the whole wide world will know you’re lying
Then you’ll be
Suspected
Detected
Rejected
Neglected
Dislikes
And you should!
When you lie, you’re closing the door

On everything good

“Your worth consists in what you are and not in what you have.”
Thomas Edison, Inventor

The material stuff doesn’t matter, what matters is how you act and the beauty we have within us. Material things don’t make us who we are. It is more important to be generous and have a good heart than to be rich and have bad intentions. We all have our own personalities and the material things won’t change it.
