Student Success Statement

“Disciplining yourself to do what you know is right and important, although difficult, is the highroad to pride, self-esteem, and personal satisfaction.”

Margaret Thatcher

Margaret’s quote is trying to tell us that if we train ourselves to do what’s right when we know what’s right, we will have pride in ourselves for choosing the right from wrong, self-esteem because we will feel good because we did the right thing. We will also have satisfaction in us because we chose what’s right and our conscience will be clear and we won’t have to be worrying about anything because we did what’s right. We are the only ones that can stop ourselves from choosing the right even though it may be hard and other people might think you’re not cool but you will know that you chose the right and you will feel good about yourself. Choosing the right will be hard almost all the time but if you always choose the right it will become a habit and we will get used to choosing the right, we need to choose the right, and never the wrong. I think that this quote is very influential and inspiring because she is completely right and I agree with her.
