The statement is telling us to always do the right and never the wrong. It is telling us that if we always do the right we will get used to it and eventually do it all the time, and that our conscience will be clear because we are always doing whats right. If we always do whats right we will never get in trouble and always have positive effects in life. I agree with Robert Lee because there are many people in the world that choose the wrong and decide to do dumb things that might send them to jail, but i those people were to choose the right they would be a better person and wouldn't be in jail.
