I think that the summary is trying to tell us that its okay to say no when someone invites you to something you know is wrong. Its okay to stand up to something you don't want to do when you are being pressured even if some people laugh at you. You have to do whats right,it would be dumb if you do whats wrong knowing that you could do the right. I think this statement is completely right.
