I think that this statement pretty much explains itself. It is trying to tell us that every time you think or you doubt in doing something then its probably because you are about to do something that's not right. On the other hand if you decide to do the right thing you wont have that feeling in you telling you that you are doing whats wrong because you wont. Mario is basically saying that every time he felt like he was doing something wrong was because it was wrong, but if he did the right thing he didn't have any doubts.
