Student Success Statement

“I would prefer even to fail with honor than win by cheating”

This statement is telling us that we should always be honest and not cheat. It’s better to lose than to win by cheating. If we win by cheating the only thing we will gain is the feeling of regret, but if we lose and played fair you won’t feel bad because you know you did the right thing and didn’t cheat. Know what is right and make that decision. If I want to win at something I am not going to cheat, I am going to try my best and even if I don’t win I will feel better than if I had cheated and won.
